I am conducting an informal survey. Could you please tell me how your hospital handles New York State Patients' Rights Booklets and queries about Advance Directives in the Emergency Department?

Do you distinguish between a) patients seen in ED and then discharged and 2) patients seen in ED and and then admitted to hospital? What materials are given to each group?
